Make sure you got the LT4 in it!

The SLP SS did but those are rare as hen's teeth and you can build that power from an LT1 anyway.

Yes I know, but the rare part....oh yes.

To me the ultimate form of the 4th gen Fbody is the polo green non t-top manual z28 or SS but dont think the SS came in Polo Green.
I had a 1995 Z28 hardtop Auto in this color it took a long time to find it. I put a K&N cold air and Borla exhaust and some C4 ZR1 wheels on it. I loved that car everything was tight and I loved the handling and the noise and the power.

I will always maintain:
There were no Camaros producded between:
and
Yes, we are on the third generation of Camaro now.

I'd rather not count the shoulda-been-a-Chevelle Zeta as a Camaro...

You mean the current gen?
Why not? I really like the current gen, despite only being in 1 SS. But I think its worlds better, better thought out than the 3 /or 4th gen.

Too big, too heavy, shit visibility. It's basically just a two door Commodore, making it more of a Chevelle than a Camaro in my book. Plus the looks were cool for the first year or two, but it got stale(like the Challenger) and the refresh made it look worse IMO. Granted, the Z28 and ZL1 are awesome, but still have shit visibility. I don't deny that they're Camaros, but I prefer the later F-Bodys in concept than the Zeta.
Consider that it's longer and wider than the 04-06 GTO. That just seems wrong to me.

I can see all points.
The visibility was probably my biggest issue by far.
On the GTO, that was the worst GTO ever (as far as styling and size go) It looked more Cavalier than GTO and that is a let down. I love the GTO too, just wish it would half retained its looks somewhat.

I actually love the looks of the Monaro GTO and always felt it was in line with the grandma's Tempest looks of a 64 GTO.
The Ventura GTO was by far rhe worst, essentially it was a Nova.

What was wrong with the Nova though?
But at least with the Ventura it had the right "attitude" about its looks.
With the Monaro... It should have been called something else, anything else. Perhaps just the Pontiac Monaro. But as the GTO it felt like they took the nostalgia of the GTO and killed it. It was the Jelly Bean of the GTOs and I find that sad.

I always found it handsome. The 64 wasn't a very exciting looking car either.
And a Nova GTO is just wrong, not to mention it only came with a 200hp 350, nothing like the 389, 455, or even the LS1 or LS2.

It isn't an exciting car, but I do feel its looks are more appropriate for a GTO badge...
